Sean Payton, Denver Broncos coach is delighted with Bo Nix's performances during his second season with the club. Although the first season was not great, Nix impressed with his statistics in his second season, and attracted the attention of the entire public.
The Broncos coach answered a reporter's question about the Nix's progress since last year.
He believes that Bo went in a completely different direction, understood many things, and improved in every aspect.
“It’s a lot different,” the Broncos’ head coach said, as quoted by The Dnvr.
“We don’t use that term, ‘Pick up where we left off,’ but just the processing [and] understanding of what we’re doing in and out of the huddle. These three days—as you’re watching each decision, [the throws are] where you want the ball to go. I think it’s entirely different.”

Nix also stressed after Thursday's training that he has improved a lot as a player, saying that he processes things more easily and understands the defense better. Although he felt a lot of pressure and suffered criticism, the 25-year-old player was determined to improve, stay part of the club, and progress in every aspect.
Like everyone, Nix also needed a period of adaptation to get to know his teammates, the coach and the general dynamics of this team.
He is happy that he could help the team, emphasizing that they are in a good position.
“I feel like I’m a lot further [along],” Nix said.
“Just spitting out play calls a lot easier and just processing. Being around ‘VJ’ (Vance Joseph) for a year and understanding the defense that I’m going to get.”
Nix pointed out that now he doesn't have to think about what the attack is doing, like before. He is focused on defense, analyzing the situation in defense, not on steps, movements, tempo or other things.
