WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently appeared on a podcast where he shared his thoughts on John Cena's return as a heel. As always, Nash was honest in his comments, and fans around the world are already reacting to Cena's new role.

Nash believes that John Cena has accomplished much more during his career than many may realize. As one of WWE's most famous faces, this great wrestler had amazing career, but many are wondering how the crowd will react now that he's turned heel.

“The thing about the his situation is, I read something today on a comment somewhere, was you know the Cena run has an expiration date. That changes everything. The one person said, ‘Wouldn’t it be Shakespearean if Cena rode off as a heel and basically the story was that he’s been that this whole time and you dumb fucks bought it for 20 years, that he was a good guy?’ I said, there’s a hell of a way to go. You’re never gonna take away from his legacy. You’re never going to take away from the fact that he’s done more Make-a-Wishes than probably the entire rest of the athletes on the planet.”- he said, as quoted by Pwmania!

Nash and his views

Kevin Nash talked about the possibility of John Cena retiring as a babyface in WWE and emphasized that if Cena decided to end his career, it could be done in a way that would be satisfactory for both him and the fans. The WWE Hall of Famer explained that if John wanted to make a retirement and he was at the forefront of that decision, it could look like the last performance in which Cena could experience a change.

Nash talked about the possibility that, before Cena leaves WWE, he will become a heel, but that a return to the role of babyface could be part of the final story. Kevin feels that the turning point could happen in his last fight, when he would make a 'victorious return', like the famous scene from the Popeye cartoon.
