The UFC legend recently expressed concerns that Leon Edwards could be in a tough spot for his upcoming fight against Sean Brady, which many didn't expect. Edwards was originally scheduled to headline UFC Fight Night in London on March 22 against Jack Della Maddalena, but due to a change of plans, Brady stepped in at the last minute.

Instead of fighting Maddalena, Edwards will now face a new challenger, and former UFC champion Michael Bisping is warning about the potential difficulties this change could bring.

A new threat

Michael Bisping, a former champion himself and now a member of the UFC Hall of Fame, commented on the situation and gave his opinion on YouTube, warning that the fight against Brady could be more difficult than Edwards expected. While Bisping isn't saying Edwards has no chance, he believes the styles of the fighters have a huge impact, and the new opponent will present a completely different challenge.

Bisping explained that Leon, who is used to fighting on the feet, could face major problems due to Brady's fighting style.

"Leon is great on the feet and has good takedown defense, but if you've been preparing for one fighter and then you get someone who brings a whole new dimension to fighting on the ground, that can create a serious problem," Bisping said.

Brady is known for his great ground fighting and grappling, an area where the 33-year-old  has not always excelled. The former UFC champion knows that Edwards has fought top wrestlers in the past, and his recent fight against Belal Muhammad further confirmed that. Brady has been challenging for Leon for a long time, believing he can exploit weaknesses in his game.

In the end, Bisping emphasizes that the fight against Brady could be a big test for Leon, especially since he has to prepare for a completely different challenge than the one he originally expected. If Leon failed to adjust his tactics, he could face serious difficulties.
