Max Verstappen believes that Red Bull should focus on improving the car for 2025, and not on changes in the driver line-up. Although the team has the option of rotating drivers, the 27-year-old Dutchman puts the emphasis on the car, obviously dissatisfied with it.

Liam Lawson

After a few tough weekends, Red Bull decided to rotate drivers: Liam Lawson moved to Racing Bulls, while Yuki Tsunoda joined Red Bull.

Immediately after that, there were reactions and criticism from the public because Lawson was not given enough chances to prove himself. Giedo van der Garde, a former F1 driver, called this decision "violence", pointing out that it is an attempt to break the driver's spirit.

Verstappen, although he did not want to comment in detail, expressed his support by liking this post, which caused a new avalanche of reactions on social media. He stressed that his focus is on technical problems with the car, not on driver changes.

"Our main problem is the car. Everyone knows it is not at the desired level. We are focusing on that, because as soon as the car becomes more competitive, other drivers will naturally bring better results," said Verstappen.

The car and its stability

Max repeatedly pointed out the instability of the RB21 car. This is caused by a combination of factors such as the surface, tires and bumps on the tracks. The four-time world champion believes that Red Bull must continue to work on the car in order to match their rivals, but he still feels that McLaren is currently in the lead.

Although Red Bull is optimistic about the future, Verstappen admits that McLaren are "comfortably ahead" at the moment.

The Dutchman, although he wants to repeat the successes of previous seasons, is aware that he has a difficult task and many obstacles waiting for him this year. Nevertheless, he tries to be optimistic, believing that he can turn things in his favor and complete the season in the right way. This is just the beginning, but it is certain that the Austrian team's start does not give rise to optimism.
