Namely, the police arrested him on suspicion that he was violent towards a member of his family. The incident took place in the town of Magnolia in the US state of Texas.

Ward was not detained long; he was released on $30,000 bail. However, this does not mean that he is free from all problems, because the investigation is still ongoing, and he was accused of strangulation, which could create even bigger problems for this popular player.

The club briefly announced that they are aware of the entire case, but they do not want to make any comments until they receive all the necessary information. The statement reads:

Ward is one of the more famous names in the NFL world. He spent the first nine seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, where he was a very important player and participated in the Super Bowl final in 2020. He has been a member of the Houston Texans since 2022 and was seen as one of the important reinforcements for their defense.
