Raul Rosas Jr. arrived in the UFC in 2022 with huge expectations. He signed the contract before he turned 18, which caused a lot of attention, because he was forecasted as a great talent with the potential to become a champion. However, it wasn't that easy. In his second match, he was defeated by Christian Rodriguez, which produced different reactions and pessimism about him.

However, the young Mexican was not discouraged. After that loss, he came back, being more hungry,  and beat Terrence Mitchell, which was beginning of his success. He achieved his last success in Mexico City, where he defeated Vince Morales by unanimous decision of the judges, thus setting a new record in the UFC that is difficult to break.

Rosas became the youngest fighter in the history of the UFC to reach five victories, at only 20 years and 177 days. The previous record was held by Vitor Belfort, who reached his fifth victory at the age of 21 years and 203 days. Although his record now are quite amazing, Rosas' ambitions are much bigger. This great fighter aims for belt, and he spoke about it with great optimism.

"My focus is on winning the belt, everything else is just a step towards that goal," said Rosas at the press conference.

Family support

In addition, Rosas pointed out that his family is his main support.

"After every match I can give more to my family, and I hope I can buy a house for my mother soon," he added.

Regardless of the fact that he is just at the beginning of his career, it is clear that Raul Rosas Jr. has great potential, and that he will be a serious contender for the championship belt in the future.

The young fighter could break many records in the company in the future, and it will be interesting to see what his limits are. There is no doubt that if he continues at the same pace, the belt will soon come, and many records will be broken.
