Conor McGregor decided to challenge his former rivals and some of the most famous fighters of the UFC, this time through a post on social networks that again caused a lot of reactions among his followers, but also among those who are not his fans.
For the umpteenth time, the Irish fighter has provoked reactions from the public and opponents with bizarre moves, and this time it was Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev and Ilia Topuria, fighters with whom he was in fierce conflicts in the past, or at least tried to be.

McGregor shared a picture on his Instagram profile comparing the number of knockouts achieved by him and the aforementioned fighters. Although Khabib, Makhachev and Topuria are certainly world-class fighters, McGregor, with 19 knockouts in 22 professional victories, is far ahead of them.
Khabib recorded eight knockouts, Makhachev five, while Topuria scored six.
Although McGregor's numbers are hard to miss, he couldn't help but add his typical provocative comment to the post:
"Three small staph infections. #KOKingMcGregor."
Such provocations are not foreign to an experienced fighter who has made the same calls many times in his career, wanting to create tension.

The Irish fighter is known as a person who loves attention, loves public reactions, and knows how to provoke his opponent. With such tactics, he has ensured his growth in the company. Of course, no one can deny his qualities in the cage, but it is certain that his name has become more famous since the moment he started provoking opponents, focusing on controversial statements, and thus gaining an advantage.
We will see whether his colleagues will react to these posts, or will they remain deaf to the Irishman, as they have many times before.
His future is still in doubt, and not much is known about Conor and his plans. For now, he wants to remain mysterious.
