Oklahoma achieved a break in Minnesota - 128:126, and took a 3:1 lead in the final series of the Western Conference.

One more victory separates Oklahoma from reaching the grand finals of the NBA League. After a dramatic finish, this team managed to celebrate in the fourth match in the series against Minnesota, so now they are only one triumph away from reaching the grand final.

Oklahoma played much better than in the third match, when only one team was questioning the result. This time, Minnesota did not withstand the pressure, so now this team is close to elimination.

MVP of the NBA Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shone, who was on the verge of a triple-double, scored 40 points, had nine rebounds and ten assists.

From the start, the visitors controlled the game and the result. After the first quarter, in which they were very efficient, they had a seven-point advantage (37:30), at halftime they maintained a similar difference (65:57).

At one point in the third quarter, Minnesota managed to equalize (79:79).

The finish was dramatic, but again everything depended on Oklahoma. And her players did not make mistakes, they played excellently in the penalty shootout, in which Minnesota tried to make a miracle.

Edwards hit the first, deliberately missed the second free throw, but his teammates failed to catch the jump in the attack, the ball ended up at Gilgeous-Alexander, to end the drama.

Oklahoma City Thunder coach Mark Daigneault reacts

Oklahoma City Thunder coach Mark Daigneault finally gave his opinion on last night's match, aware that a challenging task awaits him.

"I learned nothing," Daigneault said.

"This team is easy to bet on. We had a very normal couple days leading into it, a very normal shootaround today. There's just an internal sense that we were going to come out and it would be a much different game, tonally, and it was.

So I didn't learn anything about the resilience or the perseverance, but we're still growing. These are all new experiences for us. ... Now it's the first time we've been up 3-1 (this late in the season), and we have to handle that correctly."
