Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion of the world, has always been known for his amazing strength and aggression in the ring. During his prime, Tyson was considered one of the most dangerous boxers of all time, defeating opponents with his brutal strength and incredible speed.

His knockouts, especially those from his younger days, are now legendary and are often re-watched on social media. However, Tyson, who produced fear among his opponents, never hid the fact that there was one boxer he would have a hard time beating and that was Muhammad Ali.

In an interview with Thisis50, Mike shared his thoughts on Ali, whom he considers something special and “different” from all other boxers.

“There’s no man like him. He was the foundation of everything we have in boxing today. He was more than a boxer, he was an icon. He looked like a model, but he was a real fighter at heart,” Tyson said.

For many, Muhammad Ali remains the greatest boxer of all time, and this boxing legend agrees.

"He was like a T-Rex with a beautiful face, he was really intimidating, and he had an incredible ability to beat you not only physically, but also mentally. That's what made him special. He was the best," Tyson continued.

The 58-year-old explained that, even at his best, he would have a difficult task beating Ali.

"Even though I was dominant in my time, Ali would have been too much of a challenge for me. There's no way I could have beaten him, even in my prime," Tyson admitted.

Boxing fans know very well what Ali meant in the world of this sport, and what kind of mark he left. Stories are still being told about his incredible fights, which have remained inscribed in the history of this sport. Although Mike is a phenomenal fighter, who was unstoppable in his era, some believe that Muhammad was a step ahead of all the boxers.
