Fans are very interested in John Cena's plans when it comes to the farewell tour. From day to day, information about his plans appears, and the famous wrestler decided to put an end to some of the rumors. The experienced wrestler revealed during the Philadelphia Fan Expo event that he has no intention of reviving the 'Doctor of Thuganomics' persona.

Cena believes that it is difficult to remain the same person he once was, stressing that it is great to see how nostalgic people are for a certain period. However, judging by his words, every time brings different behavior and new challenges, and it seems that he wants to leave some things behind.

"[The Chain Gang] is right next to my official Doctorate in Thuganomics, which is stashed in Parts Unknown. Something I did was etched in your memory, and it’s obvious by the way you’re dressed and the album you hold. It puts you in a period of reminiscing. I believe we should never be the person that we were yesterday. You should always be curious and always seek growth. The 48-year-old me would’ve got my ass kicked by the 26-year-old me.."- he said, as quoted by Pwmania.

Then and now

The WWE champion recalled the old times and the moment when he told himself that he would not wear suits. However, years later, he broke his promise, wearing the suit frequently. He admits that he didn't know what love was then, but now he has everything he needs in life: peace, love and happiness.

He is grateful to everyone who supports his story, remembering the old times, but he believes that it is time for a new chapter in life.

In the end, Cena pointed out that the fans will not see such things from him again.

And indeed, John is ready to give his fans some very different experience.
