Talking to Hulk Hogan is always interesting. His achievements and experience in the wrestling world are truly remarkable. Bill Apter recently had the opportunity to speak with the wrestling legend, covering various topics within the wrestling scene. CM Punk is a well-known name, and his controversial presence continues to attract attention. While some fans admire him for his ability to entertain and engage the audience, others believe CM Punk sometimes goes too far and needs to adjust his approach.

Hogan admitted that he is a big fan of CM Punk and hopes the seasoned wrestler stays healthy. Although Hogan has never had the chance to meet CM Punk in person, he came close to doing so once. When a legend like Hogan expresses admiration and believes you’re doing great things, it's a strong affirmation of your work.

“I am a big fan of CM Punk. I just really pray that he stays healthy. I’ve never met him. I had an opportunity to meet him, but I guess I missed the boat on that one. When I came back for one of the RAWs, I was kind of out of my mind flying back from L.A. with Rob Van Dam if you get what I’m saying. I basically spent my whole night just trying to get my act together before I went to the camera. CM Punk was apparently there and that was the only time I really had a chance to meet him. I happened to walk into a dressing room to go say hello to somebody and he was there, but he was in a heavy meeting with whoever they were doing the program with that night and I didn’t want to interrupt them.”- Hogan said, as quoted by Pwmania.

WWE executives have great confidence in him, considering him one of the key figures in the company.

Drew McIntyre on CM Punk

Drew McIntyre is also one of those who commented on CM Punk, considering that CM Punk is often an honest person, but also a stubborn person with an attitude that he does not want to change.

McIntyre highlighted that CM Punk’s greatest asset is his determination and resilience. He described Punk as incredibly stubborn, emphasizing that this trait drives him to keep pushing forward regardless of challenges. McIntyre was surprised by the impact of Punk’s initial punch, noting its intensity.

He also remarked that Punk’s refusal to give up is something he values greatly. McIntyre acknowledged Punk's relentless spirit and stated that he respects his tenacity, even if it means facing him in the ring.

CM Punk's two tenures in WWE

Wrestling fans are aware that CM Punk has been part of WWE on two separate occasions. Although some didn't expect the 45-year-old to make a return to WWE, it turns out that Punk is eager for success and a comeback to the spotlight. A few months ago, Punk discussed his second stint in wrestling, noting that it isn’t just about emotions but involves much more. He believes that wrestling is fundamentally about captivating the audience and grabbing their attention.

“Wrestling is about emotion. It’s not about the moves, it’s not about how long your match is, it’s not about your fancy coat you wear to the ring. All those things can add to it. But if you can’t get the people and the audience to move, you can’t get them to feel anything, none of it means anything.”- he said.

CM Punk compared his current experience in WWE to his previous run and mentioned a shift in the atmosphere. He observed that WWE is now more of a team-oriented environment where everyone wants to see their colleagues succeed.

It seems that the WWE under McMahoan was a much different WWE than the one we see today.
