Drew Dober suffered a controversial loss at a show in Mexico City. The clash against Manuel Torres should have been much greater, but it ended quite differently, due to the interruption that caused a lot of reactions.

The fight became intense in the middle of the first round, when Torres hit Dober hard with an accurate straight, then followed up with a right hand. Dober staggered, tried to defend himself, but in the end he received blows while trying to catch Torres' leg. Judge Mike Beltran assessed that Drew was no longer able to actively defend himself and decided to stop the fight, declaring a technical knockout in favor of the local fighter.

Of course, this great figher reacted after this match, frustrated with his performance. He admitted to the media that he felt disoriented, although officials tried to explain what actually happened in that situation. On his X platform (formerly Twitter), Dober shared his thoughts with his followers in an interesting way:

"Well, that was... ****," he wrote.

"Torres landed a perfect combination. I just got unlucky, I got right in front of his right hand, which has incredible power."

Motivation

Despite this defeat, Drew did not lose motivation. He even shared with his followers that he loved his time in Mexico City, even though two of his three most embarrassing defeats were experienced there.

"The food and the people in Mexico City are fantastic. I'm happy and healthy, even though I didn't know where I was," the fighter added.

Although Dober has suffered three consecutive defeats, he doesn't intend to give up. This fighter is known for his specific style and does not give up easily. Despite the last outcome, Dober stays motivated, even though his challenges and fights don't always go as planned.

It will be interesting to see what awaits him next in his career.
