The Cleveland Cavaliers advanced to the second round of the NBA playoffs after defeating the Miami Heat 138-83 on the road.
The Cavs won the Eastern Conference semifinals with a "broomstick", with 4-0 wins, there was a 55-point difference in Miami, and in four games Cleveland made a total difference of 122 points.
The 55-point margin is the fourth-largest in playoff history.
Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said Monday's outburst, which followed Saturday's 124-87 loss, further highlighted the gap between the two teams.
"This was humiliating," Spoelstra said. "This series has been humiliating, and these last two games have been embarrassing. But Cleveland is a very good team, and we were pretty irrational. As usual, we thought we had a chance to win this series, and they showed us why we weren't ready for it."
Donovan Mitchell: Most efficient
The most efficient Cleveland players were Donovan Mitchell with 22 points, Deandre Hunter with 19, Ty Jerome with 18 and Evan Mobley with 17 points. For Miami, Nikola Jović (25) and Bam Adebayo (13.12 rebounds) were better than the others. In the second round, Cleveland will play against the better team from the match between Indiana and Milwaukee, and the current score in that series is 3-1 for Indiana.
Golden State basketball players took a 3-1 lead in the series against Houston, after winning the fourth game at home 109-106. Golden State was led to victory by Jimmy Butler with 27 and Brandon Podziemski with 26 points, followed by Steph Curry with 17, Buddy Hield with 15 and Quienten Post with 13 points. Alperen Shengun stood out for Houston with 31 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
The next game is scheduled for the night between Wednesday and Thursday, and it is hosted by Houston.
It will be quite interesting to follow the season and see what will really happen. The situation seems very interesting, and various scenarios could happen this time too. The question is who has the most strength in the rest of the season.
