Red Bull boss Christian Horner has highlighted Ferrari as a "special" team in 2025 because of the design direction they have chosen for their new car. This season brings the latest changes to the existing regulations, with teams increasingly focusing on shared concepts that result in similar car designs.

Ferrari's interesting move

While the top teams are at the forefront of the battle for small advantages that could decide the title, Ferrari has decided to take a big step forward with an "all-new car" for 2025, the SF-25. The planned changes, including a switch to pull-rod front suspension, come despite finishing second last season after a tense battle that was decided in the final race.

Ferrari's technical director, Loic Serra, says the development of the SF-24 has reached its peak, which has further motivated the team to be even more ambitious in the design of the new car.

Christian Horner singled out Ferrari as the team that has made the biggest changes of all the teams that have taken part in pre-season testing. According to him, the cars have come very close to each other in design, with Ferrari standing out as the one that has changed direction the most.

"I think the cars are very similar now, but Ferrari is the one that stands out," said Horner. "This year, marginal advantages will be key, because each team has to use their car very well on every track to gain an advantage."

For Formula 1 fans, expectations are high, as the season promises to be extremely exciting and unpredictable, with as many as eight possible winners.

Ferrari fans are even more excited after such words, having huge expectations from their team in the sequel. Special attention will be directed towards Lewis Hamilton, the multiple champion who strengthened this team.

The experienced driver wants to win the trophy after a few years, but the question is whether he will succeed in that. It will be interesting to follow the progress of this team.
