Travis Kelce, tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs, still has dilemmas regarding the future, not knowing what his next step in his career will be. Fans and experts have various speculations, believing that Kelce will remain part of the story. Head coach Andy Reid revealed his thoughts on Kelce.

Aware that this famous NFL player is exhausted and tired after the season, he gave him the right advice.

"[T]hat’s up to Travis. At this point, you get out of town and relax. That’s kind of my motto for these guys,” Reid said, as quoted by NBC.

“They’ve played a lot of games for consistent seasons here. So you get to the end of the [season], you’ve exhausted yourself mentally and physically — step back and take care of that, then we’ll talk. But for right now, I know that’s what he’s doing."

Reid confirmed that he and Kelce will have a conversation that could resolve some of the dilemmas.

“And he and I will get together — listen, we had exit meetings with all the guys before they left. So we did have a chance to talk.”

Brett Veach reacts

General manager Brett Veach sees the situation somewhat differently, considering that Kelce will be part of the team again, excited about the new chapter. The 35-year-old player is still in doubt, but if Veach is to be believed, he could return to the team. This is certainly exciting information for everyone in the team.

“I’m not sure how coach answered that — how we left it at the end of the season is that he was fired up,” Veach said. “He has one more year under contract and still think he has that fire and desire to play. As far as I’m concerned, there is no deadline. I think we left it at he’d be back and we’re excited to get him back and get him going.”
