A big surprise for Call of Duty fans came recently, when Activision confirmed that Ninja Turtles are coming to Warzone and Black Ops 6. This news caused widespread reactions on social media, and fans were divided. Some laughed, while others expressed concern about such changes in games. Many weren't thrilled with the idea of the popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) characters appearing in the shooter series, but there are those who believe it could be a real thing.
Ninja turtles in Call of Duty: Shocking news
Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael will be available in the game early next week, February 27 to be exact. However, there is one big shock for all the fans. The turtles will not be available in a single bundle, but each character will have its own Premium bundle. Traditionally, such crossover packs in Call of Duty cost around 2400 COD Points, which is roughly 20 euros. So, if you want to have all the turtles in your arsenal, it will cost you as much as you would pay for the entire Black Ops 6.
But that's not all. If you're willing to shell out another 10 euros, you can get the special TMNT Premium Battle Pass. This pass brings a number of extras, including weapon skins, stickers, and most interestingly of all; an additional operative, Master Splinter. This is an add-on that many fans find very interesting, although the entire package will be quite expensive.
The game's creators clearly have the ambition to regularly introduce such innovations, all with the aim of increasing popularity, stimulating growth and provoking reactions among players. It's not yet clear what the next step will be, but lot of the fans who will invest in these add-ons could have an impact on the creators' further decisions.
As we already mentioned, the price for these add-ons reaches 90 euros, which is an amount higher than many would pay for the entire package of some other popular games. It will be interesting to see how fans will react to these new features and whether they will be willing to spend that much money on digital additions to the game.
