Quinten Post, this year's rookie of the Golden State Warriors, delighted with the story of Stephen Curry.
Post said this after the game against the Chicago Bulls, where he played a great game with 20 points and five rebounds. Accordingly, he appeared almost for the first time in front of the press.
After the game, Post shared a story about which the whole of America is buzzing, and it is obvious how much small moves like the one made by Curry mean to young basketball players, but also to the public in the USA.
Quinten shares his story
The anecdote told by the young basketball player related to a recent meeting when the Warriors returned home from a grueling away game.
"We were coming home after a really long trip. I think we landed in Oakland around 2:30 a.m.," the Post began, and continued:
"I was trying to get my family or Uber to pick me up, but Uber just wasn't there at the time." radio. The app crashed or something.
Then Curry walked by me and just saw me on the phone trying to reach someone, and asked me if everything was okay?
I said yes, that I was just trying to get someone to give me a ride. Steph insisted that he would help and that he would drop me off at my house.
My house was definitely not on the way, so at 2:30 in the morning he decided to drop me off at his house first. That showed me what kind of person he was.
"There must have been 50 people at the airport at that moment, both from our club and in general, and Stephen is probably the last person who should have been worried about whether I would get home," the rookie said in one breath, delighted with Curry's move.
Curry has long been a favorite of the general public in the United States of America, and this story is sure to further improve his "rating".
However, it shows what is much more important, which is that regardless of all the fame and events in his life. Stephen Curry is the same person he was when he entered the league.
