The Pittsburgh Steelers made it clear that they are entering the new NFL season with big ambitions. During the transition period, the club made several interesting moves, and the arrival of experienced quarterback Aaron Rodgers was definitely in the center of attention. But what further raises interest is the cooperation that this 40-year-old will build with the new catcher; D.K. Metcalf.

Metcalf has been a pillar of the Seattle Seahawks offense for the past six years, and now he comes to Pennsylvania as one of the key assets of the new offensive system.

"D.K. is a guy who sets a great example. He's one of the main reasons I chose Pittsburgh. Especially when we had the conversation before the decision and I got to see what kind of person he is. I didn't know him that well at the beginning of the year," Rodgers said.

The experienced playmaker did not hide his emotions when talking about his new teammate's work habits: "He's been at training every day since 6 in the morning. Okay, the guy has discipline. I asked him if we could start at 8, because I have to drive from Malibu to UCLA. He said without hesitation that he can. He's a really solid human being."

D.K. Metcalf has an enviable career behind him; in his NFL performance so far, he recorded as many as 6,324 yards and 48 touchdowns. He passed the 1,000-yard mark in three seasons, and in the remaining three he was very close, with at least 900 yards each.

If the two develop the right chemistry, Pittsburgh fans could finally see a team that has the potential to make a serious run at the top of the AFC conference.

This player could be the most important link in the team and someone who could change the dynamics within the team. His experience and qualities could be crucial, but let's wait until the season starts before making any predictions.
