Novak Djokovic also lost a set in his fourth match at Wimbledon this year, but the most important thing is that for the 16th time in his career he won a place among the top eight in London. Although there was a serious challenge on the field, young rival Aleks de Minor seriously made his life difficult.

With the windy weather and complex conditions on the Central Court, Djokovic did not shine as in some earlier performances. But what is important is that he managed to find a way to celebrate and stay in the running for his eighth Wimbledon title.

After the match, he said: "I managed to find a way to win. That's what counts, winning. You don't remember how you played, but only that you passed. I'm looking forward to training to correct some things and definitely start better in the next rounds. Maybe it's better that I had a match like this earlier."

During the match, the cameras often showed Roger Federer, the legend who celebrated 22 years since his first Wimbledon title on July 7 in London. Federer came to watch the matches, including Novak's.

Djokovic reacts: It was a tough match

The Serbian tennis player admitted that he did not open the match well, especially because of the conditions and the strong wind, which was also used by the opponent. "It was a tough match, a lot of awkward situations. Sometimes I wished I had a lighter touch like Federer, but well, I'm still running and fighting," Djokovic added.

Fortunately, he is physically fit, without the problems he had in the first round against Aleksander Miller. "Everything is fine with my health. I was just trying to control my breathing at times," he said.

Although he lost a set in two matches, Novak still believes in himself and in winning the tournament. His next obstacle will be the Italian Flavio Cobolli, against whom he will play on Wednesday.
