Coach Alex Cora praised his team's offensive form after the Red Sox scored 10 points in a row over two games.

"I think we are in good shape offensively. The season lasts 162 games. You will have periods when you hit well and periods when you don't. We went through a bad period a few weeks ago, and now we are in good shape and what is certain is that we will be healthier," said Cora.

Romy Gonzalez was one of the main players on offense, with three hits and two runs in the first three innings. He finished the game 3-5 with two doubles and two RBIs. Anthony and Rafael also had solid performances, and the Red Sox picked up their fifth win in their last seven games.

Roman Anthony revealed the secret to success: "I think we make good decisions and our priority is to hit fastballs, especially over the middle of the field. That's the key to success." Currently, the Red Sox are in fourth place in the American League East, six wins behind leaders Toronto.

Kershaw entered an exclusive club

Each subsequent two-strikeout pitch that Clayton Kershaw would have was followed by a collective sigh in Dodgers Stadium. The Los Angeles pitcher entered the game against the White Sox just three strikeouts away from 3,000 career strikeouts. The audience carefully followed his every move.

Although he had a few struggles in the beginning, he eliminated the likes of Miguel Vargas in the third inning and Lenin Sosa in the fifth. With 2,999 strikeouts, the stadium exploded when he hit his 3,000th.

Kershaw is now the fourth left-hander in MLB history to reach this mark, joining legends such as CC Sabathia, Randy Johnson and Steve Carlton. He achieved this record in front of his family and in the jersey of the Dodgers, the club for which he played his entire career.

"It was amazing. I don't have the right words, it was just special," Kershaw said. He added, "Honestly, I didn't even throw great, the slider was terrible. But tonight was special. It really was. I couldn't ask for anything more."
