Lewis Hamilton has opened a new chapter in his career, and from this year he is officially the new Ferrari driver. The fairy tale with Mercedes lasted a long time, and despite the fact that the Briton was expected to remain part of the team until the end of his career, the experienced driver decided it was time for a change. The struggles he had in the German team were the reason for the 39-year-old to start a new adventure.

Is there a better option than Ferrari? It seems not.

The most-trophied F1 team knew that Lewis could be a great addition, regardless of age, and they had no doubts whether the Briton was the right option for them. Although the Italian team had many problems last season, the arrival of Lewis could change a lot of things.

By joining the team, Lewis Hamilton highlighted in his post the excitement of being part of such a great team. The popular driver sent a message to all those who have dilemmas this year, pointing out that changes are always a good thing.

"I could not be more excited for the year ahead. Moving to Scuderia Ferrari, there’s a lot to reflect on.

To anyone considering their next move in 2025: embrace the change. Whether you're switching industries, learning a new skill, or even just taking on new challenges, remember that reinvention is powerful.

Your next opportunity is always within reach. Here’s to 2025 – a year of embracing new opportunities, staying hungry, and driving forward with purpose. Let’s make it one to remember. Andiamo.”- Hamilton said.

Charles Leclerc reacts

Charles Leclerc, his colleague, is optimistic about the arrival of Lewis, expecting that the two will form a great partnership. He and Sainz also made a great combination, but the time has come for some new faces in the Tallinn team.

In an interview with the media, Leclerc stressed that the arrival of Hamilton will be a huge motivation for everyone.

A man who has won 7 championships can, with his experience and qualities, help Ferrari get back on track. The Maranello team wants to be as dominant as before, and the combination of these two drivers could turn out to be a winning one. Charles wants to get useful advice from him and start in the right direction.

"When a champion like Lewis gets to any team, it brings a lot of motivation out of every single person.

He will come along with all the experience that he's had over the years with Mercedes – a different way of working, a different vision – and this is always benefitting a team. Obviously, for me, it's going to be amazing because I’ll have in the same car as me the most successful driver in F1 history."

The 27-year-old had a good season behind him, but the ambitions of a professional of such caliber are much higher. Leclerc finished the season as P3, which is an excellent result. Nevertheless, Leclerc wants to improve, and who knows, maybe win the championship. Do you think that Hamilton can be an important link for Leclerc to finally be on the throne? Or will the Monegasque be neglected in this team?

"That will be both extremely interesting for me to learn from one of the best ever, as well as a really big challenge and motivation to beat Lewis and to show what I'm capable of. With Lewis joining the team, he will definitely be a benchmark so it will be very important for me to be on my top level."- he concluded.

Ferrari F1 boss, Federic Vasseur, could not hide his emotions after the arrival of the experienced driver. He believes that this is not a great moment only for the Italian team and its fans, but for all those who passionately follow this sport.

Hamilton's career had such a direction that fans of this sport expected him to stay, with the desire to win the last championship in Mercedes.

His plans are somewhat different, which made the Ferrari leaders very happy.

At this moment, Vasseur does not want to put too much emphasis on celebration and joy but rather focuses on the future and the desire to make success with Ferrari. Do you believe that the Italian team can win the championship after many years?

"Everybody all over the world is excited, and for sure, the mechanics are also excited, but because it’s always exciting to have someone who is a seven-time world champion in the car.

But I think after day one, we’ll have to turn the page and focus on the job,” Vasseur said.
