Four NBA games were played last night, and the "derby" match was played in Philadelphia.
Namely, the 76ers hosted the team of Los Angeles Lakers, and in the end, they achieved a home victory.
The final score of the match was 118:104 (25:25, 48:32, 26:19, 19:28).
Incredibly, the Lakers team scored almost 50 points in the second quarter!
Defense in regular season games has become a real mental noun in the NBA league, and it is not a rare case that in Europe we see 50 points in the final result of the game.
The 76ers were led to victory by the fantastic Tyrese Maxey with 43 points, three rebounds, and two assists, and Kelly Oubre Jr with 20 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
Also worth mentioning were Council with 16, Gordon with 14, and former Real Madrid basketball player, Guerschon Yabusele with 14 points.
LeBron "flirted" with a triple-double effect
On the other side, the most effective individual was the incredible LeBron James. James finished the match with 31 points, eight rebounds and nine assists.
Really, when you look at how he plays and what numbers this man has, few would think he is 40 years old. At this pace, no one would be surprised if he plays until the age of 50.
Apart from LeBron, rookie Dalton Knecht was the most effective for the Lakers with 24 points and five rebounds.
Anthony Davis left the game in the second quarter, and LeBron explained how much his absence changed the course of the match. Even though they gave their all, when one star like Davis is not on the field, the entire team feels the consequences.
"When our best player goes out, it's always challenging, especially in the middle of the game," James said. "If he's out from the beginning, then we have a game plan set. We know what to expect, we know what our lineup’s going to be. But when AD goes out, or any of our guys, throughout the course of the game, it’s tough."
