Having just added a third Olympic gold medal with Team USA to his collection, LeBron James believes he can do the same in at least two other sports as well. In July, during one of the episodes where he stars in his show, “The Shop,” the basketball player was attributing such talents to himself, saying that training for the specific jumps could award him a podium position in track and field.

“There is no event that I can just step onto a field or court and compete without first training for it, but I guess it could possibly be the long jump”. James was quoted saying by Clutch Points. “I think I can do the long jump, maybe, or the high jump.

If you give me some time, I need about six months, eight months, or whatever of preparation to get to that”. This comes on the heels of the ecstatic Olympics, wherein James teamed up with the NBA’s most hated nemesis, Steph Curry, and they ended up garnering gold together.

Curry, 36, spoke on how it was to be on the other end of the floor with the many-time NBA champion as he reminisced about how they competitively used to play. “The Adequates and I have had all these bitter rivals and now even graduate to being in the same ‘All-Star’ type, not just in any game but high pressure and emotional basketball.

I believe and I think there os a strengthening honor and brotherhood relationship there,” Curry stated to PEOPLE.

Future Collaboration Hinted

Curry also hinted that James and they might work together to some degree in the future, saying, “Let's say, hopefully, there will be more such experiences, regardless of whether we’re on the same team or not.

When there is season in the NBA, which will start in October, we will have to play against each other”. James earned his third gold and five overall Olympic medals in Paris. In his collection is also a bronze medal from the Olympics in Athens in 2004.

While it is true that James said that Paris 2024 will be his last, he is also true that he leaves a very impressive record. Los Angeles will hold the next summer games of 2028, but fans can not see James in court there.
