From next year, great attention will be focused on Fernando Alonso and his career. The 43-year-old Spaniard is not thinking about leaving F1, regardless of his age. Although some were skeptical about his return to the F1 tracks and his chances of achieving success, Fernando showed that he still has the hunger and qualities that are needed.

The Spaniard is bound by a contract with Aston Martin until 2026, and it is interesting that 2026 will be the year when Alonso could have the chance to drive Newey's first car. F1 pundit Ted Kravitz still doesn't have a real answer as to how successful Alonso can be, but he revealed that he spoke with Newey, who told him that the most important thing is mental will. The question is whether Alonso can be equally hungry for success in two years.

“Anything is possible,” Sky Sports’ Ted Kravitz said, as quoted by Crash.

“Alonso will be 44 when Adrian starts to have his first influence. He will be 45 years old when he drives the first Newey car and goes for the championship.

I asked Newey about this. Adrian said it’s about mental will. If you’re still quick enough, but the mental fatigue goes. You don’t want to do it anymore."

Ted Kravitz is optimistic

Kravitz, just like the Spanish driver, does not have a real answer as to whether Alonso will really have the potential to achieve success, but he seems to have a part of his soul believing in Alonso, feeling that he can take a step further from next year. Newey will be an important figure on his way to success.

A man with enormous experience, and a person who is one of the most responsible for Red Bull's success, decided to turn over a new leaf, wanting to help Aston Martin win the championship. This drew additional attention to this team, which obviously wants to stop the dominance of Red Bull in the coming years.
