COTA race will be a special experience for everyone, and an opportunity for many drivers to immediately start the new season furiously. Although the predictions are different regarding the favorites and winners in the race, there are a few drivers who stand out and pretend to be the main candidates for victory.

Kevin Harvick, a man who has done great things on NASCAR tracks for years, now recacts on the latest happening in this sport. The popular driver shared his opinion about the COTA race during the Happy Hour podcast.

The experienced driver predicted who could celebrate, and he obviously has great faith that it could be William Byron.

Road Courses are a strong weapon of this driver, so Kevin has high hopes for his performance.

“I’m going to take William Byron,” Harvick said, as quoted by On3

“I think that he just notoriously has the early season mojo to get into victory lane. Has done well on the road courses. So I’m going to go 24.”

Co-hosts react

The co-hosts also gave their opinions on the race, with differing opinions on the winner. Kaitlyn Vincie had a bit of an odd choice, believing that Shane Van Gisbergen could win this race. In addition, she feels that SVG could be just as impressive in a few more races.

Vincie has high hopes for him.

“I’m picking SVG (Shane Van Gisbergen), and I mentioned at the bold predictions that I thought he was going to win multiple Cup races,” Kaitlyn Vincie said. “But I think he could be one of the guys this weekend. What say you to that, Mamba?”

Mamba Smith answered her questions, saying that Connor Zilich could be the person to celebrate in the first NASCAR Cup Series race. He believes that Zilich possesses the necessary qualities, and that he is adequately prepared for such a challenge.
