John Cena is a role model for many wrestlers. A popular wrestler has been building a career for years and became the champion of WWE, delighting everyone. Although the time has come for retirement and a farewell tour, he will always be engraved in golden letters in the history of this company.

His colleague and WWE star, Jey Uso, reflected on Cena's career during his appearance on Cheap Heat, noting that he learned a lot from him. Uso stresses that John is something completely different from everything he has seen.

“I still learned in there with him because I was excited to go HAM. Last two in there. He’s like, ‘Nah, man. Here’s what we’re going to do. Slow pace.’ In my mind, I’m like, ‘My bad. I’m learning too.’ That’s a different kind of speed in there. We came up with that term recently, we call it Top Guy Speed. That’s a term. Roman is the first one that told me when we were working during the pandemic era. That stuck with me.”- he said, as quoted by Pwmania.com

Top Guy Speed

Jey Uso talked about 'Top Guy Speed', explaining that instead of jumping straight into the next move, you should just lie down for a moment. While you're lying down, the crowd will get excited and start shouting "This is awesome."

Many fighters want to jump right into the next move, but according to Uso, the most important moment is to let the crowd enjoy the action.

Once the crowd's excitement has subsided, then you can move on to the next move. He stresses that through this technique, the fighter shows discipline, because it's hard to stay calm and not want to make the next move right away, but waiting for the right moment makes the spectacle even more powerful.

Uso can also be a role model for many who are just starting out on the wrestling scene and building a career in a unique way.
