Dwight Howard, a well-known multiple NBA All-Star, was very skeptical and suspicious of stories about Michael Jordan as the greatest jumper ever. According to him, there is no way that "Air Jordan" could have made a reflection of even 122 centimeters during the jump.

At the height of his career, the 40-year-old was known for his extraordinary athletic-physical abilities, which made him unstoppable near the basket by many rivals. He went so far as to call himself "Superman", but still, during a guest appearance on a podcast, he put an end to some legendary NBA stories, not only about Jordan, but also about the legendary Wilt Chamberlain.

Suspicious topics: True or false?

Some of the topics were legends like Jordan's 48-inch (that's about 122 cm) bounce, 225-kilogram bench press, and 450-kilogram squat. Howard claims that this story casts doubt.

"They say Jordan has the biggest reflection ever seen, at 48 inches. It's probably a marketing ploy, like the ones Nike or Gatorade do," said Dwight, adding:

"If Jordan really claims he could jump and rebound a full 48 inches, those are lies. Same as those stories about Wilt's superhuman abilities. That's a flat out lie," the former center continued.

Howard entered the NBA in 2004 as the first pick in the draft, when he was selected by Orlando. He later played for the Los Angeles Lakers (twice), Houston, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington and Philadelphia. He spent the 2022/2023 season in Taiwan, playing for the Taojuan Leopards.

Along with an impressive NBA career in which he won the title, was a multiple All-Star and the only one in the history of the league who was the best defender for three years in a row, Howard now plays in the Big3 league, which is led by the famous producer, rapper and actor Ice Cube.

He left a big mark on the NBA scene, and the question arises how his statements will affect Jordan's fans, who are sure that such stories are not lies.

Michael has a huge fan base all over the planet.
