On the first day of the NBA trade deadline, some of the big-name veterans decided to change teams. 33-year-old shooting guard Jordan Clarkson moved from the Utah Jazz to the New York Knicks, while 31-year-old German point guard Dennis Schroeder, who finished last season with the Detroit Pistons, agreed to continue his career with the Sacramento Kings.

Clarkson was named the league's sixth-best player four seasons ago, but last season he played only 37 games with the worst shooting percentage of his 11-year career, just 40.8 percent. Due to a problem with his left foot, he missed the very end of the season in which he averaged 16.2 points, 3.7 assists and 3.2 rebounds.

Schroeder and Russell also change clubs: Golden State Warriors

Schroeder started last season with the Brooklyn Nets, then was traded to the Golden State Warriors, and ended up with the Detroit Pistons in February. He played a total of 75 games with an average of 13.1 points, 5.4 assists and 2.6 rebounds. The German point guard is known for frequent changes of clubs, and the Sacramento Kings will be his tenth NBA team in his 13-year career.

However, looking at his qualities, some have no doubt that he will be an equally dominant figure in the new team and help them achieve their goals next season. Schroeder is one of the greatest players in his position, and it is clear that the German player does not hesitate to change the environment if such an environment allows him better development and better financial conditions.

Experienced 29-year-old guard D'Angelo Russell signed a two-year contract with the Dallas Mavericks, where he will play alongside stars such as Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, Daniel Gafford, Dereck Lively and Cooper Flagg. Last season, while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets, Russell averaged 12.6 points, 5.1 assists and 2.8 rebounds.

D'Angelo Russell is also a basketball player from whom fans and the public have huge expectations, and few doubt that Russell can be equally superior in a new team.
