Dana White is fully against the ‘theory’ that indicates boxing pays fighters more than UFC. He also claims that Francis Ngannou was offered more in the UFC than any of his boxing deals. The former UFC heavyweight fighter Francis Ngannou’s sole reason behind leaving the organization (UFC) was unfair pay.

According to him, boxing offered him fortunes that he never accumulated over the span of his entire MMA career. He was a part of two mega-boxing events, one with Tyson Fury, where he almost won, and the second with Anthony Joshua, where he lost terribly.

Regardless of the outcome, Francis Ngannou was really well paid. Some reports indicate that the Tyson Fury fight earned him around $10 million, and Anthony Joshua secured a number close to $20 million.

Dana White's comparison

In a recent press conference, Dana White explained how the UFC pays more. "That’s not necessarily true,” White said, as quoted by mmafighting.com.

“That’s the bullshit publicly that people believe, but that’s not the truth. Total bullshit. Total bullshit. That’s that whole myth that makes everybody go, ‘Oh, let’s * go to boxing!’.

and all this bullshit. Boxing don’t work. Boxing does not work. What makes it work? You need a Saudi * trillionaire to make * fights. And even Saudi trillionaires get tired of the * bullshit. It’s all a * myth. It’s all a myth".
