When the Take-Two boss revealed earlier this month that the PC platform is now closer to consoles in aspects that matter from the business side, speculation began about a potential release of GTA 6 on PC. This highly anticipated game is currently only confirmed for PS5 and XSX/S.
Although nothing has been officially confirmed, many in the industry believe that, due to the long wait for official information, GTA 6 could launch immediately on PC, or at least a few months after its release on consoles. One of the leaders in the PC peripherals industry drew attention to this attitude.
Ronald van Veen, Corsair's chief financial officer, mentioned in a presentation to investors: "Yes, GTA 6 is probably the game that everyone is waiting for. I think it will be available for consoles later this year and then for PC in early 2026." Corsair is known for manufacturing equipment such as SSDs, RAM, cooling devices and other hardware, and according to van Veen, everyone involved in the PC market is expected to see a boost due to the release of GTA 6.
Fans are delighted with this news, but it is unknown how accurate it is.
Given that Rockstar is known for being very secretive about the information that comes out, the question remains how accurate the speculation is. While the leaked images and even the first trailer have increased interest, all the information that comes out is still not official. Despite this, Take-Two recently reiterated that GTA 6 will definitely be released this year.
GTA 6 on PC - What can we expect?
Although we will have to wait for official confirmation, many fans of the series believe that the release on PC could be faster than we are used to. Hopefully, Rockstar will share more information soon.
