This F1 season has turned out to be quite challenging, with many teams in the mix for the top spots and a fierce battle for dominance. Charles Leclerc’s recent win in Italy was a major boost for Ferrari, marking a pivotal moment in what’s shaping up to be an exciting season. Leclerc’s victory at the Italian Grand Prix, where he finished ahead of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, shows that he’s gaining valuable lessons as the season progresses.

Leclerc has used the break in the schedule to recharge and is ready to come back stronger for the second half of the season. His win in Monza not only highlighted Ferrari’s recent upgrades but also set a positive tone for the future. In the post-race press conference, Leclerc stressed the importance of staying cautious, as the upcoming races could be quite difficult.

He also drew a comparison with McLaren, stressing that while Ferrari is making progress and closing the gap, there’s still more work needed to fully match their performance. Leclerc’s victory and Ferrari’s improvements are promising signs, but the team will need to keep pushing hard to stay competitive for the remainder of the season.

“We've got to be cautious,” he said, as quoted by Crash

“After Monaco, I think we've had the four worst races of the season, because Monaco was so specific to our car at that time. Monza is also a very specific and particular track.

Lots of straights, not many corners. We had a rear wing for this track as well, which helped us to win today. We had also another upgrade, which I think definitely brought us closer to McLaren, but I don't think it's enough to be the car to beat for the rest of the season on other tracks.

I think we still have a lot of work to do, but I'm really happy anyway to have one here in Italy.”

Leclerc stressed that while Ferrari has shown strong performance this weekend, each upcoming race could present different challenges. For example, the circuits in Baku and Singapore will be quite different from each other and from Monza.

Ferrari fans are wondering if their team can remain as dominant in the upcoming races, given that the upcoming tracks may not suit the specific characteristics of Ferrari's car. Nevertheless, the recent victory has reignited optimism among supporters of the Italian team, who are eager to see their team achieve dominance once more.

Following an impressive performance last season, expectations have surged, and the desire for continued success has grown. Looking ahead to next year, the team has announced plans to contend for the championship, with Hamilton leading the charge.

Leclerc emphasized the need to stay grounded and reset their expectations after each race. Reflecting on the huge changes the team experienced from Monaco to Montreal, he pointed out that while they made considerable progress, they also faced a tough period with several difficult races as they worked to understand their car's issues.

This season was not as ideal for Ferrari as some, but it seems that they managed to understand where the main problem lies, which they will really work on in the coming period. The leaders of this team are hungry for success, so the last performance inspires optimism that big changes can happen in the future

Charles Leclerc warns fans: Don't be too optimistic

Leclerc expressed hope that they won’t face another series of challenging races, and he believes the team has made important improvements. However, he cautioned against setting overly high expectations based on one good performance, as it’s unrealistic to expect immediate and consistent success. While acknowledging that Ferrari has made progress, he also mentioned that they still have work to do before they can consistently win races.

This is certainly a message for the fans of this team that they should not have too high expectations, considering that such victories can increase expectations and create pressure on the team. The Monegasque does not want to repeat the mistakes from last season, nor spoil what they have created so far.

His colleague, who will not be part of this team from next season, Carlos Sainz, is also happy with the race, placing special emphasis on Leclerc, considering that the last victory shows progress.

The main weapons of this team next season will be Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. It is expected that the two of them in tandem can spoil the plans primarily of Red Bull, and also of other teams that are also fighting for the top spots. McLaren and Mercedes will certainly be in the game just like this season.
