The former UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski has an interesting list of fighters who he would like to claim as the ‘greatest of all time’. It’s a controversial topic, people have different views and different names. Being humble enough, Volkanovski excluded his name from the list. Following are the names that Volkanovski feels are worthy of the ‘G.O.A.T’ status:
- Demetrius Johnson
- Jon Jones
- Georges St-Pierre
- Anderson Silva
- Israel Adesanya
A very interesting selection of names. Some may agree with the personal picks and some would beg to differ. President of the UFC Dana White would only agree seeing Jon Jones on that list – the outcome of the potential fight with Tom Aspinall could prove a lot and convince many more who currently disagree with Jon Jones being entitled as the greatest of all time.

Alexander Volkanovski’s GOAT list
In a recent YouTube video, Alexander Volkanovski revealed his list of fighters who deserve to be called the greatest of all time.
“So Demetrious Johnson, Jon Jones, Georges St-Pierre. Georges St-Pierre has definitely got to be there,” Volkanovski said as quoted by mmafighting.com. “I’m going to have to throw Anderson Silva in there, and I’ll throw my boy Israel Adesanya as well. A lot of championships [and] when it comes to striking, I honestly think he’s the greatest striker the UFC has ever seen. So I’m going to go with Israel Adesanya as well”.
