Alex Pereira continues to test Magomed Ankalaev’s patience, over the recent months a lot of agitation has been noticed along with friction to materialize the title fight once and for all between Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalev. The UFC lightweight heavyweight champion’s justification is very simple he finds Ankalaev ‘boring’ due to which he isn’t strongly interested in defending his belt against him.
A recent tweet sparked controversy, the light heavyweight champ revealed his intentions by stating how Magomed Ankalev won’t be the next title challenger. The targeted contender was quick in his response and called the champion a ‘chicken’.
Some MMA professionals feel that the grappling factor could allow Ankalaev to dethrone Alex Pereira and on the flip side, some feel Pereira’s striking prowess will get the job done before Ankalaev can lure Pereira into his grappling tricks.
It will be interesting to see what the UFC ends up finalizing.
