The UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira isn't scared of any opposition – he is ready to fight anyone and that includes Magomed Ankalaev. The champ took the time to address and explain how the fight didn't materialize because of the UFC.
Apparently, there's a lack of interest. However, Dana White confirmed that Ankalaev could be next, provided that he secures a comprehensive win against Aleksandr Rakic on 26th October at UFC 308. Alex looks forward to facing Magomed and use it as an opportunity to showcase his unseen ground game.

Alex Pereira's reaction

Dana White insists that Magomed Ankalaev was NOT skipped over:
“He wasn’t skipped over.
