Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury have fought two big fights in the past year that have shaped both fighters' careers. The Ukrainian became the undisputed champion while the Gypsy King decided to retire, probably mentally shaken by the defeats.

The first match was in May 2024, when Usyk, who at the time held the WBA, WBO, and IBF titles, stepped into the ring against Fury, the then-WBC champion. The goal was to become the first absolute heavyweight champion in the four-belt era. The Ukrainian emerged victorious, knocking the WBC champion down in the ninth round and winning by split decision. In the second clash, he was better and dominant again, this time by unanimous decision.

Many thought the rivalry was over, especially after the Brit announced his retirement from boxing in January. However, recent statements from both fighters have reignited speculation about a possible trilogy clash.

The Gypsi King has shared his conditions for a third fight on social media - he wants the fight to be in the UK, in front of a large crowd, probably in a stadium.

The Ukrainian "Cat" accepted his proposal in an interview with Talksport, saying that locations like Wembley or Old Trafford would suit him.

"If Tyson Fury decides to come back, maybe we'll have another fight. No problem; I'm ready. Wembley or Old Trafford, yes," he said, adding that he would like to end his career with a trilogy against the Brit.

In an interview with Mail Sport, the Ukrainian "Cat" revealed that he wants the Gypsy King as his last opponent and last match.

While many believed that the Fury would step back into the ring, expecting he would first fight Anthony Joshua in another long-awaited clash between the British heavyweights that never happened. With both men having lost to Usyk, speculation that now is the right time for that match has grown louder.

He recently announced that he is "considering a return," meaning he could face Joshua first and then the winner of the Usyk vs. Dubois match.
