John Cena attracts huge attention and fills the covers of magazines after his heel return is confirmed. The legendary wrestler is ready to prove himself and give his best, but many are not sure how his adventure in this role will go.

WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, in an interview with Sports Illustrated, decided to make a comment regarding the new chapter of John Cena, and at the same time the final chapter.

Austin stressed that he has no intention of giving advice to this great wrestler.

'Stone Cold' looked back on his adventure in WWE as hell, pointing out that many did not want to see him in such a role.

“No, I wouldn’t [give advice]. I loved working heel when I was in WCW. I loved working heel when I first came into WWE because that was a true heel. When I turned heel at WrestleMania 17, the people didn’t want me to turn heel. It was a forced turn. It was my idea. Vince always likes to do something big on a WrestleMania. He didn’t do anything big. So I suggested that and he said okay, but it was a **** move. People weren’t ready for it. People didn’t want it. I liked working heel."- he said, as quoted by Pwmania.

Steve Austin shares his views

Austin explained his experience and reflected on how he thought his transformation into a villain would be successful at the time. This great wrestler thought he would cause a strong reaction from the audience, trying to be a hated character in a short amount of time.

However, now that he looks back on that moment, he realizes that he may have overdone it in his efforts to become such a hated character.

Austin also stressed that he had the opportunity to test his creative ideas, but people weren't ready to see him as a villain, which resulted in him never making that decision, in his opinion.

'Stone Cold' concluded that he didn't feel he was in a position to give advice to John Cena.
