WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam was a guest on the '1 Of A Kind' podcast and talked about various topics, and a special topic was John Cena and his heel look. The famous wrestler surprised many with his new role, and the excitement factor can be felt already.
The question is whether John will change some more finesse, or possibly the look.
Rob Van Dam thinks it would be the right thing to do, but still doesn't believe it's crucial for Cena at this point.
RVD stresses that during his career he never changed his look, but on the other hand, he understands that this could be an important factor for every wrestler.
“I think it would be good, but if he doesn’t want to change his look then that’s cool. I never have changed my look throughout my whole career, but I can also see where if all of a sudden he had like jet black hair or something. That would really drive the point home in a more obvious way and also make it seem like he’s gone through some changes in his mind because I assume when people do that that they’re going through some changes in their head when they’re like, ‘I’m gonna make my hair purple, or whatever … I could see Goth John Cena.”- he said, as quoted by Pwmania.
Surprising factor
The experienced wrestler still did not want to reveal what his intentions are in the farewell Tour, but it is clear that the audience will get what they wanted, and even more. Cena is used to surprising the audience many times up until now, and this time as well.
The reactions of his colleagues were mixed, especially because few expected this turn of events. John is someone who built his story in a completely different way, but the specialty of WWE lies in the fact that we can always expect the unexpected.
