The rivalry between the big three of tennis, which includes Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Roger Federer, has always been a topic of conversation among fans of the sport. Although it is often pointed out that Federer was Nadal's greatest rival, it is impossible to ignore the exceptional duels he had with Djokovic. The ratio of their duels is currently 31:29 in favor of Djokovic, which only confirms how even and exciting their matches were. Despite this, both still respect each other, and this relationship goes beyond just the sports aspect.
Relationship with the biggest rivals
In a recent interview, Nadal said: "I would say Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer because it's hard to choose. My career is tied to the two of them, we pushed each other to the limit in order to be better, in every sense of the word. It cost us a little, in the physical sense, but it took us to a special level in terms of tennis and psychology. Only one of us, without the other two, would not have reached the numbers we achieved."
Nadal retired from professional tennis last year, and it seems he didn't miss the sport too much.
"Now I feel small pains, but I no longer expose myself to great efforts. I can live with this and that is the most important thing for me," said Nadal.
In addition, he reveals how he easily adapted to life after tennis. "I don't know exactly what I will do in the future, but now I go from day to day. Because of the problems I had in the last years of my career, I don't miss tennis much," concluded Nadal, adding that he is looking forward to new challenges in life.
The Spaniard has played this sport for years, and has left a huge mark. It's unlikely that anyone will be able to do what the three of them have managed to do.
