Michael Chandler displayed great patience prior to signing up for the Charles Oliveira rematch. Chandler almost waited for 2 years waiting for the McGregor fight to materialize. Since it didn’t he moved on to fighting Oliveira with hopes of reaching the top deck of the lightweight division but to his disappointment he faced a unanimous decision loss and is now back to square one.
Michael recently revealed that his body went through a lot of pain whilst preparing for this fight. From urinating blood to experiencing compression he faced it all. He now looks forward to fighting Conor McGregor in 2025.

Recently on Bussin’ With The Boys, Michael shed some light on the strain his body went through for the Charles Oliveira rematch.
“My body is jacked,” Chandler said, as quoted by mmafighting.com. “My heart is full. Let’s start with the heart. My heart is full. I’m just happy to be home. It was good. I had a phenomenal training camp, we went to war, we did our thing. My body, the most pain I’ve ever been in my entire life. The most injuries I’ve had in a fight, for sure. Peed blood, inflammation all over, my whole body is swollen”.
Michael Chandler on who he wants next
“Looks like it’s going to be Conor next, I’m not saying it’s a real reality, but I am saying if he does his road comes straight through Nashville, Tennessee. His road back to the UFC, we have to finish The Ultimate Fighter, the UFC wants to finish The Ultimate Fighter, Conor wants to fight me. He can fight anybody, but he made a commitment”.
