Steve Nash is LeBron James' new partner in the Mind the Game podcast, and during their conversation, LeBron reflected on the arrival of Luka Doncic to the LA Lakers, emphasizing his games and their relationship. The experienced basketball player is proud to have such a player in the team, saying that he has always been the profile of a player who wanted to inspire young basketball players. 

Having such a player in your team makes your job much easier.

"Luka plays basketball the way I always wanted to inspire the next generation to play it. Nothing is predetermined. If two rivals are on you, then the team has a numerical advantage. If you have someone who can't guard you, someone you know you can beat, and someone comes to help with the racket - I'm able to make the necessary passes, to read the game before something happens," James said in an interview with Nash.

LeBron James talks about confidence

The famous basketball player emphasized the confidence this player has, saying that such players always make a difference on the court. LeBron believes that confidence is the key to the success of any team, looking back on the successes of 2006 when he and his team made a huge success.

"I've always liked players who exude confidence so much that they pass it on to their teammates so they believe they're actually better than they really are. You did it, Luka did it for seven years, Chris Paul did it in New Orleans. I did it with several of my teams - with the 2006 team, I wouldn't have gone to the grand final if I hadn't made my teammates believe they were better than they were. If I hadn't instilled confidence in them... Then the teammates able to go through the wall for you”.

You can feel the chemistry between them from day one, and it seems that with this duo at the helm, the Lakers have enormous potential to succeed.
