We are used to LeBron James breaking many records, something he is no stranger to over the years. Although this experienced basketball player is not exactly in ideal shape, his experience can be an important factor for the team. Of course, no one can deny his qualities, which he has shown year after year.

Just a week after turning 40, LeBron James continues to cement his legacy in the NBA. The popular King made history by another parameter, since in the victory of his LA Lakers over Atlanta (119:102), he broke Michael Jordan's long-standing record as the player with the most 30+ games in the history of the strongest basketball league in the world.

With six minutes left, James hit a two-point shot to reach 30 points for the 563rd time in his career, surpassing Jordan's previous record of 562 games with the same performance in 2003. The legendary Jordan achieved this record in 1,072 games during 15 seasons, while James reached this milestone in 1,523 games and seven more seasons. He became the NBA's all-time leading scorer last season and holds numerous records and achievements.

“It’s very humbling,” James said.

“Anytime I’m mentioned with any of the greats, and arguably the greatest ever to play the game, super-cool. It’s someone I idolized in my childhood, and I wear 23 because of him. So to know that I can sit here and be in the room or in the conversation or whatever it is, you mention MJ, it’s like super-duper dope for me, being a kid where I’m from.”-he concluded.

We have no doubt that the NBA star will break some more records in the coming period, which speaks volumes about how much his hunger for success is still there. The fans are looking forward to his presence, believing that James can have a great impact on the team in the future as well.
