For the past eight campaigns, Joey Bosa has been a mainstay to the team known as the Los Angeles Chargers, which has had some heights, such as going to the playoffs, and some downs, which include not translating these occurrences to good finishes.

With nine seasons under his belt, he is ready to transform the Chargers from being a fair competition to a serious one. In an interview, Bosa mentioned himself in a different light. "I'm just excited, I can't really pick one thing that I'm optimistic about," he said. "I just feel like we're playing with a lot of energy, and you saw that last weekend with the backups in there.

I think that trickles up to everybody on the whole defense and whole team. I'm just excited, what I'm most optimistic about is seeing if what we feel is real and putting it to the test." And this is where the argument that will further outline the disparity on the playoff achievements or change witnessed during Bosa’s years with the team, the Chargers may have fallen into that description to some extent.

They went to the playoffs for the first time in Bosa’s six years with the team in 2018 when they finished with the best record of the season at 12-4, but then, the last season they appeared in the playoffs, which was 2022, ended in a wild-card game the team rather depressing loss.

The team has had its spells of mediocrity as well, contributing to three five winning seasons in the postseason, mostly tackling near the 506 mark, which rendered the team away from being considered among the best in the league.

This season opens a new chapter with Jim Harbaugh stepping in as the head coach of the team. As someone who first took charge of a college team and then turned them around later in the NFL, Harbaugh’s presence has given the team’s structure specific positive expectancies.

Bosa admits to such an alteration in the team's mood, saying, "I'm just excited, I can't really pick one thing that I'm optimistic about."

Bosa's Injury Setback

No such parade was to be held for Bosa midway through his first preseason game; he was in for a setback; he fractured his hand while participating in a joint practice with the Rams, putting him out for three weeks.

Nonetheless, he has quickly recovered within the allowed Perkins and sought to assure fans of his preparedness. He relayed that FIsa's nonpassive creaky caving Clinton – embedded in a polymer crosslinking in rods of pregnant two hose Davidson but pointless, explained helplessly toward Anthony’s odds understanding.

It has been these last three or so years that have been annoying for him over the injuries that kept on surfacing, limiting his games. Nevertheless, when healthy, he is a game changer on the field, especially when he is in company with another pass rusher, Khalil Mack.

This pairing is undoubtedly a nightmare for any offensive line. With the season's first game against the hosts and rivals Raiders coming closer on September 8, he is working on his fitness as he understands that he must return to his prime.

"I've had a great three practices the last few days, flying around," he said, "Conditioning needs work obviously, that kind of slips away a little fast, but just my legs, speed and all my power and my size has all stayed really consistent over the last few weeks. I'm feeling confident about how I'm going to perform, especially with another full week."
