Israel bombards Gaza as the US blocks another ceasefire

Israel unleashed air attacks across Gaza, killing around 90 Palestinians, as the US blocked a fourth Gaza ceasefire resolution at the UN Security Council. On the same night, US senators rejected a bill that aimed to stop American weapons going to Israel, as Gaza’s death toll surpassed 44,000 people.
