The new season in Formula 1 brings a new name on the grid, namely the talented driver Isack Hadjar, who will compete in the Racing Bulls car next year, as part of the Red Bull driver's academy. This young driver, born in Paris in 2004, with Algerian roots, has shown an exceptional talent for motorsport from an early age. At only 7 years old, he started his career in karting, thanks to his father, who was involved in repairing karts.
Beginning of career and rise in motorsport
Hadjar drove his first serious season in karting in 2012, competing in the French national championships. He achieved his greatest success in 2016, when he took second place at the Coupe de France and Challenge Rotax Max France. His talent was quickly recognized and in 2017 he moved to the international karting scene, but it was only in 2019 that he really started to make a serious ascent, when he started his career in single-seaters.
In the French F4 series, he wins at the Spa–Francorchamps track, finishing the season in seventh place. Although he was initially unable to fully press the pedals due to the height, Hadjar managed to prove his talent. After a great season, he moves up to the Formula Regional level, where he has achieved numerous successes, including victories in Monaco and Monza.
Formula 3 and Formula 2 rise
In 2022, Hadjar enters the global Formula 3 with Hitech GP, where he immediately brings several podiums, including triumphs in Imola and Great Britain. His formation continues to grow, and in 2023 he enters Formula 2, where he really showed his potential with podiums and victories.
Although the results in the second part of the season were weaker, Hadjar kept the fight for the title until the very end, finishing the season in second place, with 192 points. Given his youth and excellent performances, his future in Formula 1 looks promising.
Fans of this sport believe that this young driver is ready to do great things.
