Despite speculation surrounding a possible move for Max Verstappen to Aston Martin, Red Bull's sporting director Helmut Marko is not worried. Verstappen is under contract with Red Bull until 2028, but there have been rumours of a lucrative offer from Aston Martin, including a billion pounds and a stake in the team. Verstappen, however, told the F1 75 Live event in London that he had spoken to Aston Martin, but only about their GT3 cars, not an F1 move.

Team principal Christian Horner believes Verstappen is happy at the team. "I think Max is happy in the current environment," Horner said, adding that it would be difficult to imagine Verstappen outside Red Bull as he has been winning titles for the team.

Helmut Marko also believes Verstappen has no reason to leave the austrian team before his contract expires, stressing that performance is the key issue. "A gap of one or two tenths of a second is something Max can make up for," said Marko, adding that Red Bull's target remains a fifth consecutive title.

Red Bull prepares for changes to its 2025 line-up: What can we expect?

Red Bull is preparing for a major change for the 2025 season, as the team will part ways with Sergio Perez after four years, despite having extended his contract. New Zealand driver Liam Lawson, who has only had 11 races with the Racing Bulls so far, will be his successor. Marko has set very clear goals for Lawson, who must regularly score points and help Max whenever necessary, but stresses that he must not try to outdo his teammate.

The situation is quite interesting, with many questions that arise in the mind. Will Verstappen stay in the team or does he have other goals in the future? Red Bull officials hope that the 27-year-old does not think about other teams and the offers that keep coming. The past has taught us that any outcome is possible.
