Ex-NBA Star Mitchell Wiggins Passes at 64

The basketball community lost one of its well-loved members, ex-NBA guard Mitchell Wiggins, who passed on at age 64. Wiggins was a six-season veteran of the league and was normally revered for his achievements on the court.

He is also the father of Andrew Wiggins, who plays forward for the Golden State Warriors.

From Kinston, North Carolina, Mitchell Wiggins entered the NBA history books as the 23rd overall selection by the Indiana Pacers.

Soon after that, his rights were transferred to the Chicago Bulls, with whom he had a good debut year, averaging 12.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.

Wiggins' NBA Journey

Some of his notable career accomplishments include time spent with the Houston Rockets, where he was part of the team that won the Western Conference championship in 1986.
