After such information, fans of Erik and his team reacted deliberately, congratulating the 28-year-old on the birth of his son. The 28-year-old has achieved many successes this season, and certainly, an important moment was when he received the 2024 Comcast Community Champion of the Year award. In his speech, the famous driver referred primarily to his father, stressing that he was the main inspiration for the creation of the Erik Jones Foundation. The two of them had already talked about such an option earlier, wanting to help the community. After many years of visions and everything, they succeeded in their goal. "I mean, first thing I could think of just as my dad would be proud, you know, I think back to a lot of great moments with him and something we talked about a lot was, if we ever had the opportunity to be in a position in NASCAR to start a foundation and what that would mean and what it would be and it's a little different than probably what we thought but you know we're here and celebrating something that's a really big honor for us."-Erik Jones said.

Erik revealed that his father, before his death from cancer, was someone who emphasized philanthropy, noting that he was a donor.
