Jadon Sancho: A well-known name in the football world and one of the greatest talents in English football. The young winger made a significant impact at Borussia Dortmund, but eventually realized he wanted to take the next step in his career. His choice fell on Manchester United, where Sancho aimed to fulfill his dreams. However, his time at United turned out to be lackluster, frustrating, and disappointing.

The young Englishman did not perform at his best, and his relationship with United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, became a major media topic. Sancho had disagreements with Ten Hag, who sidelined him for a period before sending him out on loan. Upon his return to United after his loan spell in Dortmund, it seemed like Sancho might rediscover his best form. However, the club decided to end the chapter with him and transfer him to Chelsea.

On the final day of the transfer window, Jadon Sancho joined Chelsea on loan from Manchester United, with the option for Chelsea to purchase his contract at the end of the season.

After being introduced as a new player for the London club, Sancho gave his first interview as a Chelsea player and took the opportunity to subtly criticize his former manager, Erik ten Hag.

The last day of the transfer window was particularly eventful, with one of the greatest moves being Sancho’s transfer from Manchester United to Chelsea.

"We’re pleased to announce that Jadon Sancho is the new Chelsea player, joining us on loan from Manchester United. At the end of the season, we will exercise the option to buy out his contract, and he will not be returning to his previous club," Chelsea wrote on social media.

Shortly after this announcement, Jadon spoke for the first time to the club’s media.

He clearly decided to deliver a parting shot to his former manager, Erik ten Hag, right at the start of the conversation.

"I think the manager was a key factor in me joining this project. I’ve known him since he worked with Guardiola at Manchester City.

He spoke to me on the phone about this project and what he wants to achieve here. For a young player like me, it’s very exciting, and I can’t wait to get started," Sancho said.

Sancho didn’t stop there.

The young Englishman believes that Chelsea’s system is well-suited to his style of play and is prepared to give his all to help the London club return to its former glory. Enzo Maresca has made many changes within the team, and the young footballer hopes to adapt to the new system and contribute to Chelsea’s success.

"They’re bringing me in for a reason, which is to contribute to the team, and believe me, I’m ready to do that.

I enjoy the style of play that Enzo Maresca prefers. When wingers get the ball, he wants them to play one-on-one and be direct.

It all looks very attractive, and it’s exactly the style of play I love," Sancho added.

Additionally, Jadon expressed his pleasure at playing with familiar faces.

"I know Tosin and Cole Palmer. He was younger than me when we were at Manchester City. I haven’t had the chance to speak with them yet.

I’m sure they’re looking for me, so I believe we’ll have the chance to chat soon.

I want to bring goals and assists to this team. I’m a good player, and I’m eager to play at Stamford Bridge as soon as possible," Sancho concluded.

The occasional England international arrived at Manchester United three years ago from Borussia Dortmund in a transfer worth €85 million, but has since struggled to justify the expense. The "Red Devils" gave him a lot of opportunities during his first two seasons, but things deteriorated in his third year.

It all began with a Manchester United vs. Arsenal derby, where the young Englishman was not even included in the matchday squad. United's manager, Erik ten Hag, explained his decision by stating that this great player had been underperforming in training. This provoked Sancho, who responded to the Dutch coach on social media, insisting that people should not believe everything they read and that he had been working hard in training. Sancho felt that there were other reasons for his exclusion from the squad.

However, this response did little to improve his standing with the team. Ten Hag continued to exclude him after Sancho refused to apologize, and from that point on, Sancho was no longer considered for the first team.

In January, he was loaned back to Borussia Dortmund, where he regained his top form and helped Dortmund to reach the Champions League final.
