The MMA community continues to mourn the tragic death of Jeff Brady, a man who left an indelible mark on the PFL and Bellator as an operations manager and consultant. The noble 49-year-old died in Arizona while trying to rescue two boys from a swollen river. His twin brother Greg was the one who shared the news on social media, with emotional words that touched thousands of people around the world.
"Jeff will forever be remembered as a hero," Greg wrote, leaving no doubt that his brother did something that few can. The Yuma County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Brady managed to keep the children above water until a rescue boat arrived. Unfortunately, he lost his strength and disappeared under the surface. His body was not found until the evening, at around 7:20 p.m., after an extensive search.

Following the news, numerous well-known fighters from the PFL and the wider MMA scene expressed their sadness and respect. Tyron Woodley, Patricio Pitbull, Chris Cyborg and Dakota Ditcheva were among the first to speak out. All of them emphasized in their posts that Jeff was more than a manager – he was a man with a heart.
A GoFundMe campaign has also been launched to help his family.
The page states: "Jeff's sudden death has left a devastating emotional and financial void. The funds are intended for funeral and memorial expenses, immediate living expenses for his family, and to support Jeff's twin brother Greg, who is now supporting two grieving families."
Greg is now left alone with a huge burden – caring for two families, covering funeral expenses, daily living expenses and therapy for the boys his brother saved. "Greg would never ask for this help, but we know he needs it," the appeal continues. The campaign's goal was $50,000, and according to Bloody Elbow, most of that amount has already been raised. Although anonymous, it is learned that the largest donation, as much as $10,000, was made by Dana White.
