Badou Jack is open to defend his WBC world cruiserweight title against Jake Paul.

Paul tries to find his place in this sport and defy all critics to become a professional, legitimate world champion. His next fight will be against former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on June 29, which will be a big test of his boxing skills.

If he beats Chavez, he hopes to get the biggest opportunities possible, and he was already close to deals with Canelo Alvarez and Gervonta Davis.

Paul recently stated that he could knock out current WBC champion Badou Jack, and when Jack found out, he had a very calm reaction:

- I haven't heard that before, anyway. It's a fight for money. It's an easy fight and a fight for money. Why not? - Jack told SunSport.

Jack, who competes under the Swedish flag, has previously fought at the same event as Paul, when Paul lost to Tommy Fury in February 2023.

Jack has achieved great heights in his career, but is now 41 years old and in the final stages of his career. Despite his age, he is very confident that he would easily stop the 28-year-old Paul.

Nicknamed ‘‘The Ripper’’, Jack has become a lot in his career. He holds world titles in three weight classes, including the WBC super middleweight title from 2015 to 2017, the WBA light heavyweight title in 2017, and the aforementioned WBC cruiserweight title he has held since 2023.

Jake Paul and his confidence

Jake Paul has shown confidence many times so far, believing that there is no opponent he cannot stop on the line. The famous influencer and boxer is ready to make history and convince the world of his qualities for the umpteenth time. Although some are skeptical about the chances of the 28-year-old fighter, there is no doubt that Paul would pose a serious challenge to his opponent.
